The Lakewood BlueClaws have added two autograph signers to their 2017 promotional calendar - former Mets manager Bobby Valentine and WWE Hall of Famer Jake "The Snake" Roberts.

Valentine will be at FirstEnergy Park for an autograph signing on Thursday, June 15th and Roberts will follow two weeks later on June 29th. Both games start at 7:05 pm but lines will form when the gates open at 6:00 pm.

Tickets to those (and the entire season's) games will go on sale in-person on Saturday, March 18th from 10a-2p at the team's FanFest at FirstEnergy Park. After FanFest, online and phone single-game orders will begin on Monday, March 27th.

Bobby Valentine played for 10 years in MLB, starting with the Dodgers then heading to the Angels, Padres, Mets, and Mariners. He went on to manage the Rangers for eight seasons before heading to Japan to manage the Chiba Lotte Marines. He came back to the US to manage the Mets from 1996-2002, leading the team to the 2000 World Series. He went back to the Marines before one final year with the Red Sox in 2012.

Jake "The Snake" Roberts is the latest wrestler to appear at First Energy Park, following the likes of Sgt. Slaughter, Jerry "The King" Lawler, and The Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame on April 5, 2014. No word as to whether Jake will be bringing Damien along with him.

2017 BlueClaws ticket packages and group outings are currently on sale by calling 732-901-7000 option 3 or online at
