Well, while things are uncertain, we can at least try to focus on positives, right?

Berkeley Township released a statement that they were aiming to have the White Sands Beach in South Seaside Park open on May 1st. That's the same day they will begin their pre-season Beach Badge sale, running May 1-31st. Beach Badges will be sold ONLINE and by mail, but you'll still have to pick up the physical badge in person at the beach starting Memorial Day Weekend.

The Berkeley Parks & Rec Department does want to remind residents that the township will be adhering to the guidelines for social distancing as laid out by Governor Murphy and the CDC.

I'll admit that at first, it seems kind of weird to be saying "hey let's go buy beach badges"...but maybe we can take some comfort in the fact that this could be the first step back to some type of normalcy, right?
