Berkeley Police have arrested five residents now charged with selling white powder across the township.

Taquan Pearson, Nicole Vorhees, Lynsay Leitner, Edwin Nieves and Michelle Lanzieri were all taken into custody at a home on Wojtyla Court in Holiday City Monday after detectives developed enough information to warrant a search of the residence along with the Ocean County SWAT Team.

The warrant was related to the distribution of narcotics, specifically cocaine, from the residence.

As a result of this search warrant, a large quantity of cocaine was discovered.

This was packaged for distribution as crack-cocaine.

Police also found paraphernalia used to produce, package and distribute these narcotics were also located within the residence and discovered a substantial amount of cash inside the home.

Berkeley Township Police said that, "this home was seen as a major supplier of narcotics throughout Berkeley Township and neighboring jurisdictions."

Pearson, 37, of Wojtyla in Berkeley is charged with possession of Cocaine and Possession of Cocaine with the intent to distribute.

Vorhees, 48, of Route 9 in Berkeley is charged with Possession of drug paraphernalia.

Leitner, 39, of Wojtyla Ct in Berkeley is charged with Possession of paraphernalia / Failure to appear warrant for $350.00.00.

Nieves, 42, of Wojtyla Ct in Berkeley is charged with Possession of drug paraphernalia.

Lanzieri, 52, of Wojtyla Ct in Berkeley is charged with Possession of drug paraphernalia.

Pearson and Nieves were remanded to the Ocean Jail in accordance with the bail reform act.

Lanzieri, Vorhees and Leitner were processed and later released on a summons.
