Where do you stand on holiday cross celebration? Normally my family whips out the Christmas tree right after Thanksgiving dinner and we all decorate it together.  I've noticed that this year people can't get Christmas fast enough so they are pushing Christmas before we even have our Turkey. Normally I like each holiday to have it's time to shine but after everything we've been though this past two years I say have at it!  Asbury Park is ready to get festive and I have the details...they are not the only ones celebrating...

Everyone at the Jersey Shore seems to be on the Christmas planning page too!  I wanted to share these festive holiday happenings with you so you can be allllllll in too!   For this post I'll focus on Asbury Park...

Dec. 1: The Asbury Park Menorah Lighting - 6 p.m. in Kennedy Park (intersection of Cookman Ave and Grand Ave).

Dec. 3: Fireman's Park Tree Lighting at 5:30 p.m. - Main Street & Sunset Avenue.

Dec. 4: The Downtown Holiday Tree Lighting with activities starting at 5:30 p.m. (Intersection of Cookman Ave & Mattison Avenue).

Dec. 11: Springwood Park Tree Lighting/Kwanzaa at 5 p.m. (Springwood Park on Springwood Avenue)

Read more about it from The Patch here.  When I see more area celebrations I'll pass it along! Oh and yes, the glass my husband is drinking out of is the official Grizwold National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation moose mug, available on Amazon.  :-)
