It’s Back: Asbury Park’s Beloved Brickwall Reopens After 6 Years Away
I love seeing a business that was hit by hard times, thanks to COVID a few years ago, finally start to make a real comeback for itself. And in Asbury Park, we're seeing that with the beloved Brickwall.
The Brickwall Closed In 2020, But Is Making A Comeback

Brickwall closed before my wife and I moved to Jersey, so I never had the chance to experience the original spot before it closed. But what I've read online is a place that I really wish I could have visited.
Great food, great atmosphere, great drinks. What else could you want in a local bar and restaurant?
Sadly, the Brickwall had to close its doors back in 2020. From what I understand, it was due to the hard times brought onto most of the restaurant industry thanks to COVID.
But time heals all wounds, doesn't it? Scrolling through Instagram, I saw that the Brickwall is now officially open again in Asbury Park, and people couldn't be more excited!

The 'new' Brickwall was at one point replaced by the restaurant 'Homesick, ' but now, Brickwall is back at 522 Cookman Avenue.
From what I'm seeing on social media, the new Brickwall has a happy hour that features two-dollar select beers and burgers for under $20, which is a steal!
