Will it be a Starbucks? There's a lot of construction going on at the corner of Lacey Road and Manchester.

It used to be the old Wells Fargo Bank. Chase Bank is across the street.

Starbucks has been mentioned in this location and it would be a perfect location. Several Lacey Township residents reached out to us and would love to see Starbucks as a standalone coffee shop and drive-thru right on the corner of Manchester Avenue and Lacey Road. From our Facebook page, just some of the comments:

Rod from Lanoka Harbor - Starbucks would be perfect there on the way to the Garden State Parkway.

Linda from Forked River - Starbucks would be perfect at this location.

Jane from Lanoka Harbor - On my way to the Garden State Parkway, I'd love a Starbucks right here in Lacey.

Construction being done on Lacey Road at the former Wells Fargo Branch has been empty for a while, something is definitely being done. Pierson Commercial Real Estate from Marlboro has it listed. I checked the listing a little bit ago, but I believe it's still listed with Pierson.

I know Dunkin is just a little bit away from that location on Lacey Road, but there's always room for a Starbucks.
