Another Restaurant Closes In Brick

Late last week the news came in: Famous Dave's BBQ in Brick is closed.

There are still four other Famous Dave's locations in NJ, and as of yet the company hasn't given a reason of why the Brick store closed up.

It does seem to just be another example of a chain restaurant struggling against smaller, local businesses. There are a lot of great local options for barbecue, and even if it's a local chain like Local Smoke BBQ, or a place with one location like the Hickory Hog or Woodchucks, people are definitely spending more money locally than nationally.
