Something Exciting Is Finally Moving Into This Former New Jersey A&P
So, this may be a weird question but do you have a favorite food store?
I'd like to think most of us do.
I'm a big fan of Shop-rite, specifically the one off of 37 in Toms River.
But maybe you're more of a Stop and Shop, and that's fine too.
Years ago, I was always a big fan of the A&P in Seaside Heights.
It was the one food store we'd go to when we'd spend a week in Lavallette for vacation each year so it was always fun to swing by the first day and stock up for the week.
Well, there's a new food store coming to the Jersey Shore, and it's going to replace one of the old A&P buildings that stand vacant.
The new food store will actually be this small chain's first store in Central Jersey.
The food store is based in Phoenix Arizona and operates about 380 stores in 23 states.
It's a store that's known for having a wide selection of healthy options for shoppers and is set up to give a fun and unique shopping experience.
The way the store is laid out is like a farmer's market; and has an open produce area in the middle of the store.
I'd say it's similar to what you'd see at a Wegmans.
The new food store is opening in the Aberdeen Plaza, off Route 35 in Aberdeen, and is also a specialty store that'll feature fresh meat, seafood, a bakery, and prepared meals.
According to APP, it looks like Sprouts Farmers Market will be opening a new store in the Aberdeen Plaza, next to LA Fitness.
There's no exact open date for the new store, but APP reports it looks like it may open in 2024.
I'm always looking for cool new food stores to check out and when this place opens, may have to add it to the list!
