
Another New Jersey Grocery Store Announced It’s Closing
It seems like more and more nowadays we are seeing and hearing about stores closing more than anything else.
For example, just the other week Stop and Shop announced that it was going to have to make some decisions regarding store closures in the near future.

That's a huge chain in Jersey, it's frightening to hear about.

Discount stores are having issues right now too.
This year Dollar Tree announced that it had plans to shutter thousands of locations over the coming year, and it could affect New Jersey.

Now, another small grocery chain has plans to close in the Garden State and it leaves it's 61 employees wondering "What's next?"
Kings Grocery Store Announced It's Closing A Popular New Jersey Location
Kings Grocery Store, which at one point was headquartered in Jersey and then after filing for bankruptcy was bought out by Albertsons announced its plans to close up shop in Chatham.
According to Patch the store employs 61 people and has to close no later than September 1st this year.
The silver lining here is that the 61 employees of the Kings Grocery Store closing in Chatham have the opportunity to be transferred to other King's Stores in the area.
Patch reports there are currently 15 King's Grocery Stores in Jersey and hopefully they won't be facing the same fate as the Chatham location any time in the near future.
