We have been wondering if the Beachwood 4th of July fireworks on the Toms River would take place this summer.

Unfortunately, due to Governor extending New Jersey's health emergency order by thirty days, the 4th of July firework show is being postponed and will be rescheduled for Saturday, September 5th of Labor Day weekend.

In a press release issued by Beachwood Mayor, Ronald Roma Jr, he states:

The fireworks may well have an attendance upwards of 15,000. This would make it impossible to practice the governors order of limited outdoor group gatherings and social distancing

The Beachwood fireworks have had a rough couple of years. Back in 2018 the fireworks in Beachwood never happened due to the fact that a truck with the fireworks didn't have a driver to get them to New Jersey
