30 Pounds Later And I Can See My Ribs & Toes!
Hello? Who are you and where did you come from? That is the question I asked myself the other day while I was lying in bed. No I didn’t have a guest with me, I had ribs! Yes, can’t believe it but it’s true.
I was so excited that I hopped out of bed and looked down, and there they were! TOES! Wow I forgot what it was like to look down and not see belly!
I’m not saying that I am a svelte, fine specimen of a man, not yet! But I am on the right road! The Keto experiment has become a lifestyle. I am excited, I am learning and growing in the knowledge of the diet.
This week since it is the 1st week of April, I started the month with a 4 day “beef and butter” fast. It is exactly what it says. I am eating one meal a day, and it is beef and butter. There are recipes and instructions on-line.
Looking back to February 4th, when I started Keto, I was 298 lbs. Today April 4th I am weighing in at 268 lbs. 30 pounds, and I feel better today than I have in years.
For the first time in a long time, the scale doesn’t frighten me!
