Zaxby's Fried Chicken Plans On Opening 2 NJ Locations

There are a few types of foods that I get really excited about, but there's something about chicken tenders that just makes me go crazy.

And no, I'm not that person who goes to a nice restaurant and orders chicken tenders, but if there's a food truck, brewery, or hole-in-the-wall bar that has good chicken tenders, I have to order them.

For example, I made the trek when Raising Canes finally opened in Jersey just so I could try their chicken dipped in a healthy serving of Raising Canes sauce.

It was well worth the drive.

Now, it looks like another popular fried chicken chain is getting ready to expand to the Garden State, and once again my taste buds are ready.

Zaxby's Announces It's Expanding Into New Jersey

If you're not totally familiar with Zaxby's, I'm not too surprised, it's a chain that's pretty popular in the South and hasn't really made endroads further north yet.

But any time a Southern chain does fried chicken, it's always amazing.

According to APP, there's no exact location in Jersey where the new chicken chain plans to open, but it'll be in South Jersey closer to Philadelphia.

So I'd guess somewhere in Camden County, Burlington County, or Glouster County, but only time will tell.

Zaxby's, by the way, does plan to be up and operating by 2025 so we won't have to wait too long to try this new chicken spot, and like any fried chicken stand worth their weight in breading they also have their own specialty sauce called Zax Sauce or Zaxby Sauce.
