Your Guide To LBI Beaches
As we stare down Summer 2020, there's a lot of uncertainty as to what will be open, what will be closed, what restrictions will be placed, and all sorts of other things.
The LBI Chamber of Commerce released a handy guide so you can know what is going on around the island, and how each town is approaching opening their beaches and seasonal rentals.
Barnegat Light
Beaches: Open to the public in Barnegat Light.
Beach Badges: Click HERE for information on Barnegat Light Beach Badges.
Rentals: No current ban on Short Term Rentals in Barnegat Light.
Pets on Beach: Pets are not allowed on the beach until the fall in Barnegat Light (April 15th is the town’s seasonal cut-off date for this).
Beach Haven
Beaches: At this time, beaches are open to jog and walk only (not sitting) in Beach Haven.
Beach Badges: Click HERE for information on Beach Haven Beach Badges.
Rentals: There is a Rental Ban in effect in Beach Haven until June 1st, 2020.
Pets on Beach: Pets are allowed on the beach in Beach Haven until May 14th, 2020.
Harvey Cedars
Beaches: Open to the public in Harvey Cedars.

Rentals: Short-term rental ban ended on May 1st. There is currently no ban on Short Term Rentals in Harvey Cedars.
Pets on Beach: Pets are allowed on the beach in Harvey Cedars until May 30th.
Long Beach Township
Beaches: Open to the public in Long Beach Township.

Rentals: Rental Ban in effect in Long Beach Township until June 1st, 2020.
Pets on Beach: Pets are allowed on the beach in Long Beach Township until May 15th.
Ship Bottom
Beaches: Open to the public in Ship Bottom.

Rentals: Rental Ban in effect in Ship Bottom until May 15th, 2020.

Beaches: Open to the public in Surf City.
