Which Major Star of “The Simpsons” Is Leaving The Show?

Harry Shearer announced via Twitter that he will be leaving the show.

Shearer voiced a lot of classic supporting characters, including Ned Flanders, Mr. Burns, Smithers, Otto, Principal Skinner, Dr. Hibbert, Lenny Leonard, Kent Brockman, and Rainier Wolfcastle.

Longtime Simpsons showrunner Al Jean has said "Burns and Flanders will not die. They are great characters and will continue."

The show will go on, and many animated shows have changed voices over the years. Still, something about losing such a funny man with great vocal range that worked on so many great supporting characters, it'll be tough to go on.
