We were sad to learn of the passing of long-time WZZM-13 reporter and anchor Lee Van Ameyde.

Our paths crossed with Lee a few times during our time here in Grand Rapids, including him being a part of two different live at night shows. His involvement in the "Dirty Pictionary" segment of the live show in 2014.

In 2016, Lee was a part of the "Lyrics of Mystery" segment of the live show and it's one of our favorite live show moments ever.

Lee truly was a legend, and will be missed by all of us in West Michigan. Our thoughts are with his family and friends during this difficult time.
