Want To Be A Mermaid For A Day?

Asbury Park is holding their annual Mermaid Promenade, coming up Saturday, June 30th. Mermaids and Mermen will take over the boardwalk, and there are events all day long across the town.

There's a $10 entrance fee if you want to be part of the official costume contest, but it's totally free to walk in the parade. You can also volunteer to help work the event.
