Delicious, These Were Voted The Best Chicken Wings In New Jersey
Nothing goes better with football than some wings.
Maybe a couple of cold beers, my lucky jersey, and a couple of buddies too.
Football season is in full swing, and I couldn't be happier because that means every Sunday I have an excuse to not only yell at my TV all day, but I can also order up all of the delicious food that goes with football.
Wings are at the top of the list.
New Jersey is home to a lot of amazing wing places; where I live in Seaside Heights I'm a big fan of the wings at Hemmingways, and also the ones at Little Mias.
Cheg is good too and so are the wings at the Windward Tavern in Brick.
Recently, the experts at Love Food ranked the best wings in every state, and when someone says they've found the best anything in New Jersey, my ears prick up a little bit.
This place apparently double fries their wings, the reason behind this is because it melts the fat and adds a ton of extra flavor.
Being double fried also gives the wings a super crunchy exterior, while the meat inside is nice and tender.
Oh, these wings are also supposedly huge which I'm personally a fan of!
So, What Place Was Voted Best Wings In New Jersey?
The best wings in New Jersey are in North Jersey, but before we get there, let's take a look at the best wings in the states right next to us; New York and Pennsylvania.
In New York, the spot that was voted best wings is a 150-year-old historic tavern called Bar-Bill.
The most popular wings there are the Cajun Honey Butter Wings.
In Pennsylvania, the best wings can be found at a chain in the Philadelphia area (as well as parts of Jersey) called Crunchik'n.
Personally, I'd say the best in PA are from a spot called Saloon 151, they smoke their wings and they're delicious.
Now, let's get to Jersey!
The best wings in New Jersey, according to Love Food can be found in Harrison New Jersey, at a Korean BBQ restaurant.
Congrats to Takorea BBQ for being voted best wings in New Jersey.
