We reported yesterday that starting this Monday, April 20th, that the COVID-19 testing site at Ocean County College will be moving to Waretown. The move is NOT happening

The Ocean County Health Department said that there are some logistical issues in Waretown that cannot be addressed at this time so officials decided to remain at Ocean County College.

According to OCHD.org:

“While the Training Center provided an inside venue, following this review, these logistical issues cannot be addressed in time for the end of this emergency declaration,” said Ocean County Public Health Coordinator Daniel Regenye. “Therefore it was determined it would be best to continue the testing operations at the college. “The college operations have gone smoothly, the traffic flow is good and we are doing well there,” Regenye said.

A doctor's prescription and a scheduled appointment is still needed to get tested for COVID-19
