Something I really enjoy, and I know it's kind of weird, is grocery shopping.

I've said it before but I think there's just something really relaxing about cruising up and down the aisles and looking at everything there is to offer.

What I really enjoy is going to a smaller specialty grocery store.

For example a place like Joe Leone's in Point Pleasant.

It's so much fun to take some time and walk around downtown Point Pleasant before heading to Joe Leone's for some specialty ravioli, cheese, and dessert.

Maywood's Marketplace in Maywood is another nice little local grocery shop to go to do your shopping.

Soon, another specialty Italian Grocer will be coming to the Garden State, and it's a place that'll have a lot to offer customers.

It's a store that got its start in Long Island and has been quickly growing with 8 locations in Long Island, plus two locations in Jersey already.

The local specialty chain plans on opening its very first store in Monmouth County in a former Acme which closed back in 2019.

The store offers people Italian-themed specialties as well as a full coffee and espresso bar, a full deli, an in-house pizzeria, a from-scratch bakery, a specialty cheese department and so much more.

The new store will also offer catering.

According to APP, the store is having a grand opening on April 21st; doors open at 7 AM and there'll be a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10:30 AM.

Located at the site of the former Acme at 990 Shrewsberry in Tinton Falls, Uncle Giuseppe's is planning to open its first Monmouth County location.
