Senior Matt Solomon poured in 16 points and sophomore Ryan Frauenheim and freshman Griffin Linstra each added eight for Manasquan, which scored 12 straight points during a stretch spanning the end of the second quarter and beginning of the third to turn a 28-28 deadlock into a 30-28 lead.

Junior Nick Valentino led Red Bank with a game-high 22 points and senior Tommy Keegan poured in 10 in the loss, which marked the final game as head coach for 21-year Red Bank coach Scott Martin.

(2) Robbinsville 47, (7) Jackson Liberty 34 - Watch

Luke Billings scored 12 points to lead a balanced Robbinsville offense and the Lions (16-11) could not overcome a slow start in a loss to the Ravens (19-7), ending a historic season for Jackson Liberty.

Senior Phanique Dupree and freshman Jayson King each scored seven points for Jackson Liberty, which trailed, 25-6, at halftime and got as close as nine points in the second half.

Robbinsville will host No. 3 Brick Memorial Saturday at 6 p.m. in the Central Jersey Group III semifinals.

(3) Brick Memorial 51, (6) Hamilton West 50 (OT) - Watch

Junior Brian Starrett scored 14 points, including a game-tying baseline jumper with 25 seconds left in regulation that extended the game and gave the Mustangs (20-6) a chance to knock off the Hornets (14-10) in overtime.

Brick Memorial moves on to the sectional semifinals Saturday for the first time since 2010, when the Mustangs will travel to face No. 2 Robbinsville with a spot in the sectional final on the line. Brick Memorial has never won a sectional championship in boys basketball and has not played in a sectional final since 2006.

Hamilton West rallied to tie the game on a play made by Arterio Williams, who stole the ball near midcourt and dunked it as he was fouled. Williams hit the free throw out of a timeout to put the Hornets ahead, 42-40 with 1:09 to go.

Brick Memorial nearly turned the ball over trying to get the ball over the midcourt line and once it finally did, its first shot was a three-point attempt that senior Luke Braaten left well short. Starrett, snagged the rebound, though, took a dribble away from the traffic near the basket and hit a quick turnaround shot to tie the game.

Starrett also grabbed eight rebounds, dished out six assists and came away with three steals to lead his team into the sectional semifinal round for the first time in a dozen years.

Junior Josh Michigan added 12 points, while seniors Luke Braaten and Jason Ellerbrock delivered the big shots in overtime for Brick Memorial. After diving to the ground to help Brick Memorial maintain possession, Braaten popped back up, grabbed an offensive rebound, and converted the putback as he was fouled. The 6-foot-7 senior then hit the free throw to complete the three-point play and later sank both ends of a 1-and-1 to extend the Brick Memorial lead to 50-44.

Ellerbrock hit a tie-breaking three-pointer to open the fourth quarter and in overtime, hit his second three-ball, which gave Brick Memorial a 48-44 lead.

Hamilton West had a chance to tie the game with a pair of free throws with four seconds left, but made just the second of the two attempts.

Braaten finished with eight points and seven rebounds, Ellerbrock had six points and junior Dorian Alston poured in nine for Brick Memorial.
