I always thought it was a great way to bring people into the dining room that normally would not have.

Point Pleasant does a restaurant tour. The self-guided tour introduces you to the various participating food preparers. The theme is to sample the offerings from some of the best in Point.

Some of the dozen or so restaurants are easily accessible by foot.

For those that are not, you can easily get to them via other means of transportation; car, Uber, bike, or just simply by walking.

Waling is probably a good option. Burn off those calories!

The 3rd Annual Point Pleasant Restaurant Tour is being sponsored by the Point Pleasant Chamber of Commerce. The tour is scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 25, from 12n-4p.

According to the events Facebook page. The tickets for the event are $30. A commemorative backpack is included in the ticket price. To control the crowd, they will only be selling 250 tickets, so it’s first come first serve. The rain date is the next day, Sunday, September 26.

If you are curious about alcohol, the ticket price does not include any “adult beverages”.

Some participating dining rooms may have their bar open for those of the legal drinking age.
