It also involves a Christmas tradition that millions of people hold near and dear to their hearts.

Local Toms River, NJ Dancer Is Performing With The Rockettes

And be sure to look out for Athena Petrizzo while you're there.

According to Jersey Shore Online, she's a Toms River, NJ native whose lifelong dream has been to be a dancer with the Rockettes, and she's making that dream a reality.

For the past 5 years, Athena has been dancing with the Rockettes, but now for the 2024/2025 season, she has been promoted to the front line.

In addition to living out her dreams as a Rockette, being in the front line means she was also featured in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade as well as the tree lighting at Rockefeller.

A Toms River North graduate from 2017, it's very cool seeing one of our own get to follow their dreams and make it to the big time.

In addition to all of this, Athena has been seen on Jimmy Fallon with the Rockettes, several commercials, and even a Hallmark Christmas Movie.

She's not the only Celebrity to make it big from Jersey either!
