I am still dying of laughter.

I get being new to an area. I get culture shock.

There is a Tiktok going viral from @grifgreen20 and it is not because we are laughing with him.

In the video, he reveals that he just moved to New York City and was on the hunt for a nearby grocery store.

He tried five different locations and still had no success?

Plot twist! The failed attempts were bringing him to bodegas and other locally owned businesses.

He states in the video, "Bro, I'm trying to get eggs, yogurt, cheese....S**t like that."

Say bro one more time. I swear.

He then goes on to ask: "Where are the Kroger's and the Whole Foods at?"

He then ends by saying he will be stuck with cereal and Ramen for dinner.

My dude - take another look at the video YOU posted. Specifically, fast forward to the :23 mark.

Do you want to know what you are filming the inside of? A GROCERY STORE!

You are literally showing your viewers aisles and shelves filled with various food items and yes, all of which are available for purchase.

Is it the exact brand or packaging you may be used to? No, maybe not.

But I am just having trouble understanding what this guy doesn't understand.

If I also may....these bodegas and smaller grocery stores are locally owned. Sometimes, the best food comes from those small hole in the wall businesses because it is made with a special recipe or even better, with love.

You want chains to take over even more? You want everything to look exactly the same?

Fellow Twitter user @bigstupidgirl had a very good point to make in response to this video: She writes these areas are, "systemically deprived of resources and [his] demand of a whole foods would force the family corner stores to shut down accelerating gentrification."

Not sure which state you came from but welcome to New York City.

The land where everything looks, smells, tastes, feels and sounds different...and we wouldn't have it any other way.

Here is another piece that will make you laugh...but maybe not for a good reason...
