In June 2018, a car lost control on a rainy morning and struck the beloved Wunder Wiener hot dog stand on Route 9 in Berkeley. Unfortunately, owner Gerry LaCrosse was inside when the car hit, and he had to take some time off to recover. He vowed to reopen in about a year, and it looks like he'll be making good on his promise!

LaCrosse purchased a new, bigger trailer, and is looking to set up in a new location - a vacant lot on Route 9 between Fuller’s Marine and Blackbeard’s Cave.

No timeline has been announced, but LaCrosse said he wants to open "as soon as possible" - we'll let you know when it does!
