It's been a while since I've been to the Manasquan Reservoir, but it's a beautiful place to go for a 5ish mile walk.

We've heard a bunch about lakes in northern NJ being contaminated, and now it seems like the taint is moving south, as the Monmouth County Park System is warning people to stay away from the water in the Reservoir.

A lot of the comments on that post have been asking whether or not the drinking water is affected...and as of yet, the MCPS hasn't responded. We'll let you know if we get any updates.
