My best friend and I like to think that we are professional surfers. We still have our day jobs so clearly we aren't that good at surfing...However, we recently bought a pretty legit waterproof phone case and we have been taking really sweet pictures! It's not just the picturesque views of the Manasquan River and Manasquan Inlet or the food or fare that make this establishment so special. It's the memories. Countless families have swung through after a day at Manasquan Beach or Seawatch Beach. Countless employees have spent their summers serving food, drink, and deserts while putting smiles on the faces of their customers. Countless memories have been made by, dare I say, millions of locals and tourists over the last 80 years. Now, this great business is up for sale and the price tag is equally memorable.

This is tremendous news! The Manasquan Inlet Intracoastal Tug, presented by Jersey Mike's, is back and better than ever. After a year away, the one-of-a-kind event will return for a third time on Saturday, October 9th. The series of tugs-of-war across the Manasquan Inlet serves as a recreation department fundraiser for Manasquan and Point Pleasant Beach.

We all have a couple of restaurants that are our go-to's. You know, the places where you pretty much know the menu front to back and have never had a bad meal or less than stellar experience. Now imagine if one of those spots just disappeared. It would be heartbreaking, right?

If you read my articles, as you know, I love going out and exploring what the great Jersey Shore has to offer. What you might not know is that I grew up in Monmouth County. I graduated from Wall High School in 2012. Four years later, after getting my communications degree from West Virginia University in 2016, I quickly started my radio career in Kentucky. After a year in the middle of nowhere Kentucky, I then moved to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for three years. I was moving around the country to simply build my resume in hopes of one day making it back here to be a radio personality. Though I am very thankful for my past experiences in other states, I will be the first to admit I missed living at the Jersey Shore and I especially missed going to Jersey Shore restaurants. For the years I missed living at home, I am now taking FULL advantage of what the Jersey Shore has to offer.
