This weekend Aug 23rd- Aug 25th is the 2nd Annual Asbury Park Comedy Fest presented by Nick Clemons. Nick is the son of the late E Street Band member Clarence "Big Man" Clemons.

The New Jersey Shore amusement pier where Superstorm Sandy knocked a roller coaster into the ocean is struggling to get its ride park back up and running.

Hurricane Sandy ravaged the Jersey Shore back in October of 2012. Eight months later, the Tiki Bar at Waters Edge in Ocean Gate is Re-Opening Today at 4:30!

While many of the old Jersey landmarks have come and gone, there is still one along a busy stretch of Route 9 in Southern Ocean County.

In an effort to encourage Sandy-impacted homeowners to resettle in their primary residences and help them with reconstruction, rehabilitation, elevation and mitigation, the state Department of Community Affairs has launched the reNew Jersey Stronger housing assistance initiative which will provide $780 million in grants to assist those who are eligible.

With the destruction and removal of the Jet Star Coaster in Seaside, people are working on rebuilding the pier and the attractions...do you think the name of this coaster goes too far?

It will be an odd feeling when the now infamous coaster finally is removed from the water in Seaside.

The mayor of a storm-wrecked Jersey shore town said Monday that England's Prince Harry will visit next week before heading to a news conference nearby.

Earlier in the week, Seaside Heights officials announced that the new boardwalk would be open from Webster Ave heading south to Seaside Park starting on Saturday. They opened it early!!

The first pylon for the new boardwalk in Seaside Heights was driven into the sand back in January, and starting this weekend, people will once again will be able to walk on the new boardwalk from Webster Ave south to Seaside Park. Temporary railings will be installed but there still won't be beach access until Memorial Day

It's hard to believe that today is the six month anniversary of Hurricane Sandy. An event that has changed the Jersey Shore forever. So many thoughts go through my head about how things are today six months later. I feel a sense of hope and excitement, but I also have a strong sense of anxiety as well.

Another one of the casualties after Hurricane Sandy was all the displaced pets and animals. Animal shelters were overwhelmed with the amount of animals that came in days following Hurricane Sandy. The cost to run, and maintain the animal shelters financially went through the roof...
