We've had a mostly warm winter season for the so far but that's coming to a screeching halt this weekend with wintry weather and bone chilling winds breathing down the neck of the Jersey Shore forcing a Code Blue activation.
Haven/Beat the Streets, a non-profit who serves the homeless and needy in Ocean County is turning to the skies above in thanks for those who've supported them and hosting an event August 24-26 at Huddy Park in Toms River.
Ahead of tomorrow's annual point-in-time count of individuals who are homeless, various organizations have been preparing to offer services to those in need, so they can turn things in a better direction.
Halloween is the ultimate candy and costume day for children. Over the weekend there were also numerous parties for the adults to have a good time (and ladies to wear basically nothing). However, one foreclosure firm took it too far though by throwing a homeless themed Halloween party!
