CVS has over 100 stores in New Jersey. CVS has over 100 stores in NJ. But, with the drug store giant announcing the planned closing of 900 stores nationwide, we can't help but wonder how many locations in the Garden State could be affected.
CVS Pharmacy announced earlier today that they would stop selling cigarettes and other tobacco products by October 1, 2014 in all of their 7,600+ stores in the United States.
In a statement from CVS President/CEO Larry J Merlo states:
Ending the sale of cigarettes and tobacco products at CVS/pharmacy is the right thing for us to do for our customers and our company to help people on their path to
