Most of us have no actual idea what Cinco de Mayo is besides being the 5th of May and a reason to become inebriated.

Cinco de Mayo. Is it Mexico's Independence Day? No. Does it commemorate some obscure Mexican Army victory in the 1800's? Absolutely, but you didn't know that and neither did I.
