We have a lot here in New Jersey and we have a lot of words we use especially while driving in New Jersey, lol. The beaches, the best restaurants, boardwalks, lakes, and everything else, including eight words that you'll only understand if you live here in the Garden State.

Who are these people and where do they come from?

Depending on where you call home in New Jersey, you've probably hear the terms "Shoobie" or "Benny" every summer.

It is almost that time where the Bennies will be heading home after another great Summer here on the Jersey Shore. Just a couple more weeks to go, and it will be Labor Day Weekend, so this song might be rolling around in your head. The song is called "Benny Go Home", and it's by the band "The Bayonne Bleeders" It's a catchy little tune...

The Lovely Christina and I were talking on the radio today about what  traffic is going to be like on the Garden State Parkway this summer with all the construction going on. We shuddered at what it's going to be like on a Sunday evening with all the "Bennies" heading home.
