Even more than 2 years later, that stupid COVID-19 Pandemic is still having a major impact on our businesses.

Unfortunately, another one has had to permanently close their doors.

According to NJ.com, wedding venue and banquet hall known as Sterling Gardens in Matawan has closed.

The venue revealed the news via Facebook where they explain that the COVID-19 Pandemic took a severe toll on their business.

As a result, the owners of Sterling Gardens have had no other choice but to sell.

The post also confirms that the new owners do not plan on using this space as a wedding venue or banquet hall.

Hmmmm....now I am curious what new business will be taking over this space. What are you hoping for?

It really is very sad.

As far as a specific closing date, NJ.com is not 100% sure when that will be or if it has already happened.

However, "repeated phone calls, emails and messages on social media to Sterling Gardens went unanswered and the company's website has been changed to a single page featuring the same closing message that was posted to Facebook," according to NJ.com.

It is looking like they have already closed for good.

This is the second wedding venue in New Jersey to close this month. The first was Mayfair Farms up in West Orange.

I hope this trend does not continue because if it does, eventually we will have to travel out of state to get married.

So not on board for that.

Thank you to all at Sterling Gardens for all your hard work to create memories for people that I am sure thousands will remember for a lifetime.
