Jersey Shore’s First Soft Serve Margarita Is Now at Riverside Tavern in Beachwood

I find myself driving around Ocean County a lot, passing by little bars and restaurants. And more often than not, I think to myself, "I should try that place one day," only to never actually go there, and just end up at the Anchor Inn instead.

What can I say? I'm a creature of habit, and I like the bar down the road from my house.

My wife, however, loves to mix it up, and last week she said we're going to the Riverside Tavern for her birthday dinner and trivia, and that's final.

I'm so glad she insisted we check it out, because I was blown away at how good the food was, and they had Kane Head High on tap, so that made me a happy camper.

Riverside Tavern had a great special the night we were there for trivia: $5 craft beers and 99-cent wings. Needless to say, beers and apps were easy on the wallet that night, and who wouldn't love that?

But what was really cool was that as we were talking to the bartender there, she mentioned they're getting ready to open a Margarita Soft Serve Machine. You read that right, it's a margarita infused with soft serve.

It's now finally available at the Riverside Tavern in Beachwood, and I believe it's the only place at the shore as of now where you can get something like this:

I am not a margarita fan in the least; however, I will admit I have to get in and give this a try! It comes in Strawberry and Mango flavors, and yes, you can get a twist.
