Sign A Petition To Stop The Gas Tax Increase

I know, I know...it's yet another online petition, just like the one to get Black Sabbath's "War Pigs" to be our National Anthem or the one to get Bob Uecker to replace Joe Buck for this year's World Series (please let that happen!). Sometimes, though, if it's on a smaller, local scale, online petitions can be successful, like the one to re-allow dogs at Fisherman's Cove in Manasquan.

SenateNJ.com, the official site for NJ Senate Republicans, has drawn up a petition to repeal the 23-cent gas tax increase.

It took me all of 30 seconds to sign up, check my email, and click the confirmation link. We all have 30 seconds to spare - if it doesn't work, you didn't lose much, and if it does, it's a shining example of the power of the people.
