Another Huge Shark Was Sighted Near Beachgoers In New Jersey
I know, another shark in the water? The next thing we'll be talking about is a bird landing in a tree.
But here's the thing, it's not very often that sharks get this close to people in water, and the video is both amazing and shocking.
Shark Sightings Have Become More Common This Summer
It seems like we've seen more close calls with sharks this summer than in years past.
A few weeks ago, a Great White was spotted off the coast of Cape May.
There was also a massive Sandbar Shark spotted close to swimmers off the coast of Stone Harbor.

Fortunately, shark sightings don't mean anyone got bitten, it just means a shark was seen and we get an up-close view of these amazing creatures of the sea.
A Massive Shark Came In Close Contact With Swimmers In Cape May, NJ
It's almost too close for comfort.

According to 6 ABC a large Basking Shark, which was at first mistaken for a dolphin, was spotted in the waves just a few feet from where people were swimming.
Typically, these types of sharks are harmless to humans and will not attack, but according to 6 ABC over the past 5 years, we've seen 40 unprovoked shark attacks a year, which is an increase.
This wasn't the only shark spotted near Cape May, at the time of the above sighting, another large Basking Shark was spotted a few miles off the coast as well.
Sharks aren't really that scary, what's really scary is driving down some of these roads in the Garden State, whoa!
