Captain Kirk has done it again.  He's managed to put out yet another album of covers of what are considered really great songs (this time space-themed rock songs) and turn them into...well....I can't write that here, but let me just say that I love a good laugh, so all is not necessarily lost.  His new album, Seeking Major Tom, is filled with the classic rock songs that most of us have loved for years and some of us feel just a bit anxious when they're re-created in spoken-word form with the unmistakable imprint of Bill Shatner.  Don't misunderstand me.  I love William Shatner.  He was a great Captain of the Enterprise and he's got a great sense of humor (did you see his Comedy Central Roast?  I rest my case).  But there are some places that he should not boldy (or otherwise) go, although you have to give him credit for not giving a damn and going there anyway!  Such heavy-weights as Sheryl Crow, Peter Frampton, Zakk Wylde and Ritchie Blackmore are guests on the album, so can it all be so bad?   You decide.
