Seaside Heights Boardwalk Could Get New Restaurant, Bar
The owners of the Coin Castle arcade have submitted a proposal to Seaside Heights' planning board that would bring a new fast-food style restaurant and indoor-outdoor bar to the boardwalk.
The project would convert a portion of the Coin Castle into the Midway Bar, while leaving a section of the building closest to Ocean Avenue as an arcade.
Shorebeat has some sketches of what it would look like.
While those artist renderings look nice, I'm just wondering why Seaside needs another bar. I get why the town would want some nicer food options on the boardwalk to entice tourists, but there are already plenty of places to get drunk up and down the boardwalk.
