Just about a year ago, the Exit 82 Theatre Company brought The Rocky Horror Show to the stage in Toms River, and they're going it again this year - with a twist!

I've been a fan of The Rocky Horror Picture Show for a long time (I was definitely too young to be watching it the first time I saw it) and I've seen it in pretty much every way. I've sat at home watching it alone, put it on during a house party, been to the midnight screenings with a shadow cast, and seen it performed on stage. I even sat through the "Let's Do The Time Warp Again" special they did a few years ago.

The troupe from the Exit 82 Theatre Company is bringing the show to life for Halloween this year, in a way unlike any I've ever seen.

There will be twelve performances running October 30th and October 31st, and rather than taking place in a theater, a "Phantom" will guide you through various venues in Downtown Toms River, creating a truly unique theatrical experience.

Tickets are either $50 (includes 1 drink ticket to Garden State Distillery & 1 drink ticket to Battle River Brewing) or $35 (no drink tickets). Performance times are Friday, October 30th at 7pm, 7:45pm, 8:30pm, and 9:15pm; and October 31st at 5pm, 5:45pm, 6:30pm, 7:15pm, 8:30pm, 9:15pm, 10pm, and 10:45pm.

I'll be honest, I don't know exactly what to expect from this sort of multimedia performance, but it sounds like it could be amazing!

Thanks to Lady Di (who would probably make a mean Magenta or Columbia if she wanted) for the heads up!
