Reports: Woman Found Dead Near Berkeley-Manchester Border

BERKELEY — The remains of a woman have been found near the border of Berkeley Township and Manchester Township, according to the Asbury Park Press.

The Asbury Park Press is citing township officials after the body of an elderly woman was found on a series of trails in the woods near Township Line Road. Investigators believe that the woman may have suffered a medical episode while walking her dog.

After the woman passed, her dog that she was walking stayed with her, the report says.

A large police presence was seen on Saturday evening near Pine Ridge at Crestwood in the Whiting section of Manchester.
