I love talking about the Cape May County Zoo; it's such a cool thing that makes the Jersey Shore an incredibly unique place to visit. A large part of the reason I feel this way is because the zoo itself is free for the public to attend.
Why The Cape May County Zoo Is A Great Jersey Shore Attraction

The Jersey Shore is already a pretty expensive place for people to visit, so to have something like this available at no cost is pretty amazing. Also, the exhibits that the Cape May County Zoo has, for a free zoo, are second to none.
The Cape May County Zoo Welcomed 2 Baby Capybara Last Year
Last year, I was incredibly excited when 2 baby capybara were born at the zoo, more on that here. They are so cute and such a fun addition to the Zoo. Now, a pretty rare animal is calling the Cape May Zoo home, and she moved in just in time for her very first birthday.
Ember, The Red Panda Is Now Calling The Cape May County Zoo Home
Red Pandas are generally found in the Eastern Himalayas and may be, hands down, one of the cutest animals on the planet.
Ember is the newest addition to the Cape May County Zoo, and she is already making waves.
Coming to Cape May from the Knoxville Zoo a few weeks ago, Ember is adjusting to her new home nicely and is ready to say hi to you this summer!
