That's right kids, Brian May of Queen might become a politician.
Now there's one candidate I could get excited about!
According to itv.com, Brian is considering running as an Independent in this May's general election.
His agent Phil Symes told the BBC that May had "no firm plans" as to which constituency to stand in and was frustrated at the "current powerlessness of the vast majority of British people and the desperate state of Parliament."
May is well known for his strong views on animal rights and opposition to the badger cull and could stand under his Common Decency initiative, which he started earlier this year.
The Common Decency project cites its key aim as being "to re-establish common decency in our lives, work and Parliament", according to bbc.com.
May, currently touring Europe with Queen, owns a wildlife sanctuary at Bere Regis in Dorset and is active in the defense of foxes and badgers in his native UK.
Too bad I can't vote in the U.K. :-D
