
Point Pleasant, New Jersey man thrown from his bike and killed in Brick crash
Brick Police are investigating a fatal Sunday car accident, around 2:25 pm, that involved a man being thrown from his motorcycle near Burnt Tavern Road and Spiral Drive.

Police said Robin Federbush, 49, of Brick was turning left in a Hyundai Elantra from Spiral Drive to Burnt Tavern Road when she hit Christos Michael, 59, of Point Pleasant, who had the right of way at the time, and was then thrown from his Bourget Custom Motorcycle.
Michael died from his injuries at the scene of the crash from lower body and internal injuries.
The Brick Township Police Department’s Traffic Safety Unit responded to the scene to investigate the crash.
Vehicule traffic on Burnt Tavern Road northbound and southbound was detoured around the crash scene for about five hours, police said, during the investigation.
An ongoing investigation is being conducted by Brick Township Police Department Traffic Safety Unit and the Ocean County Prosecutors Office.
Ptl. David Thergesen #249 from the Brick Township Traffic Safety Unit and Det Anthony Carrington #35182 from the Ocean County Prosecutors Office are leading the investigation and anyone who may have witnessed or has information related to the crash is asked to contact Ptl.
