Is there anything better than breakfast at the Jersey Shore that includes some big, fluffy, delicious pancakes? I remember when I was growing up, and spending my summers at my grandparents' house in Sea Isle City, we'd always head to Uncle Bill's in Strathmere, just up the road from us, for breakfast, and big ole pancakes.

Sadly, my grandparents no longer have a house in Sea Isle, and Uncle Bill's is now closed. Things change. One thing that's constant, though, is Jersey's love for going out to get good pancakes.

New Jersey Is Home To Some Amazing Pancake Places You Have To Try

Places like Brownstone Pancake Factory in Brick always bring in a crowd for out-of-this-world pancake creations, and if you're just looking for straightforward, regular old pancakes, you can't go wrong with one of Jersey's great diners.

There's one pancake spot in Jersey, though, that sets itself apart from the rest, in part because it has a full-service bar that serves up pancake-garnished drinks. And it's getting ready to open another location in New Jersey.

The restaurant is called PJ's Pancake House, and it originally opened in Princeton in the early 60s. Since then, PJ's has grown to feature locations in Lawrenceville, West Windsor, Robbinsville, Ewing, and Pennington, and soon a 7th location will be opening in New Jersey.

Of course, the pancakes here look delicious, but that's not what really caught my attention at this place.

PJ's Pancake House Features A Full All Day Bar

What really sets PJ's apart from other breakfast spots is the fact that they have a full menu, including fresh pizza, and even feature a full bar that has cocktails garnished with little pancakes.

I mean, even if you're not a big fan of martinis, how cool is it to get a little pancake garnish on your drink?

When Is PJ's Opening Its New Location In Montgomery, NJ?

PJ's is planning to open its newest restaurant in Montgomery, NJ, off Route 206 at Village Walk, and, according to NJ.com, they are eyeing an opening sometime in the spring of 2026.

While we wait, here are some of the NJ diners we would give anything to eat at just one more time.

20 NJ Diners We Would Give Anything To See Open Again

There's probably more than 20, but I'd give anything to eat at any of these now-closed NJ diners just one more time. Did your favorite place make the list?
