In late March, PJ Sweeney's in Brick announced they would be closed indefinitely. A lot of restaurants struggled through that time, and while some were able to stay afloat with curbside pickup and delivery, some others chose to just shut down and ride out the pandemic as best as they could.

It's incredible that a restaurant can close for more than three months and make a comeback, and it's great to see that PJ Sweeney's will re-open on July 1st!

PJ Sweeney's will take time to re-train their staff to make sure all of the new restrictions are being followed. The re-opening will happen July 1st, and they will start taking reservations June 24th.

We've seen plenty of businesses close temporarily, then permanently, so it's great to see a restaurant manage to survive the pandemic and make a return!

This is going to be a super-important time to Shop Local and Eat Local, as places all over the Shore will be facing a summer like we've never seen before.
