Peter Criss Recognized As Drum Legend Icon

Founding member of the band KISS, and original Drummer Peter "The Cat" Criss will be recognized at Club Nokia in Los Angeles this Saturday Jan. 14.

The drum induction honors icons in the drum world who have paved the way for today's drummers. The award is given to those that have made significant contributions to drumming and have influenced the music industry by their style and musical career. Past inductees have included John Bonham (Led Zeppelin), Nicko McBrain (Iron Maiden), Steve Smith (Journey) & Alan White (YES).

Peter will also be a judge that evening for the 23rd Annual Guitar Center Drum Off, the nationwide search for the next great undiscovered drummer.
