It may just be me, but bookstores and the Jersey Shore just kind of go together.

There's nothing better on a nice summer day than laying out on the beach and reading a good book.

Plus, there are a ton of great little bookshops around Jersey for you to visit.

When I was a kid, we'd always go to Dalrymple's in Sea Isle City.

I'd pick up a copy of MAD Magazine and a few comics to read while we were on vacation.

Bookmarked is another great local bookshop right in Whiting that has a bunch of great slightly used books.

Sometimes though you need to go to a bookstore that has a much wider selection than what you may be able to get at your local spots.

Anymore, that pretty much just means Barnes and Noble.

A while back, I told you about the Barnes and Noble in Paramus, and how it was getting ready to close.

Of course, it's a bummer because they'd been in the same location at 765 Route 17 South for nearly 30 years.

However, NJ.com reports Barnes And Noble just announced that the store isn't closing, but relocating to a new location a mile or so down the road.

The current store off 17 South will close on March 18th, and will eventually relocate to 634 Route 17 North in Paramus.

At one point, this building housed a Toys R Us, a Spirit Halloween as well as a Big Lots.

No word however on when an open date for the new location will be.
