Officer In Shootout with Bombing Suspect Leaves Hospital [VIDEO]

Cameras were rolling as NJ Police Officer Peter Hammer was released from the hospital to a standing ovation.

Officer Hammer was injured on Monday during the shootout with the bombing Suspect Ahmad Khan Rahami in the streets of Linden, NJ. Broken glass or a bullet skimmed Officer Hammer's head when gunfire was exchanged.
