Novins Planetarium on the campus of OCC has a HUGE lineup of events for Halloween!

I'm going to lead with the event I'm most excited for: the Grunge Halloween Costume Party! On Friday the 18th at 8:30pm, throw on your best ripped jeans and well-worn flannel and listen to Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, White Zombie, and more!

Laser Fright Night has three showings, October 12th, 19th, and 26th, and features tunes from Michael Jackson, Black Sabbath, Alice Cooper, and others.

Novins also takes care of the younger Halloween enthusiasts too, with a bunch of shows geared towards kids: the Not-So-Scary Halloween Laser Show features Kidz Bop versions of Halloween songs; the authors of Host A Little Ghost and the Story of the Mystical Mums will be there on the 18th for activities and a show; the monthly PJ Party turns into a costume party; and of course, Toms River Macaroni Kid is partnering with The Jay & Linda Grunin Center for the Arts and Robert J. Novins Planetarium for the 2nd Annual Trunk or Treat on October 20th.

There are even a few events that aren't specifically Halloween-y, but still fit the feel of the season.

The truth is out there with Space Aliens: Looking For Life In The Universe on October 12th at 2pm.

It's a double-shot on Pink Floyd on October 26th, with Dark Side of the Moon at 8:15 and The Wall at 9:30.

You can check out the entire schedule and get tickets HERE.
