Do you enjoy hockey? How would you like to see our brothers and sisters in blue compete on the ice for a good cause?

A 'Winter Classic' hockey game between the New Jersey State Police Benevolent Association and Navesink on January 27 will serve as a benefit for the NJSPBA Charitable Fund and the Berkeley Sergeant Alison Wray Fund.

Alison Wray is the Berkeley Township Sergeant who passed away following a stroke she suffered while on duty in the fall of 2017.

She left behind two children, 2-year old Harrison and 4-year old Henry, as well as two step-children 11-year old Cole and 15-year old Regan.

Wray also left behind her fiancé Sergeant Henry Ganska who served on the force with her at BTPD.

The NJSPBA is still looking for sponsors at the game that'll be held at Navesink Country Club at 50 Luffburrow Lane in Middletown, New Jersey for a fee of $10.00 for those planning on attending.

Anyone with questions on the event is asked to contact Chris Schick with Berkeley Township PBA 237 at 732-232-6293 or via email at cshick@berkeleytwppba237.org.
