Despite the fact that we have so many amazing little mom-pop seafood spots, we're also home to some pretty popular chains that offer seafood.

One of those chains is well known for offering hungry customers an endless variety of shrimp at a very affordable everyday price.

So you can come to the restaurant hungry, and leave full and happy.

However, the price for this chain's all-you-can-eat shrimp deal is about to increase.

Red Lobster Set To Raise The Price Of Its All You Can Eat Shrimp Deal

Believe it or not, Red Lobster's all-you-can-eat shrimp deal was super affordable when compared to some other options on the menu.

According to Eat This Not That, a typical shrimp dish in Jersey like Shrimp Linguini Alfredo would run you about $16.

For just for bucks more at $20 a person, you could opt in for the all-you-can-eat shrimp deal.

Now, Eat This Not That reports that Red Lobster is increasing the cost of its all-you-can-eat shrimp deal because of its popularity.

Instead of $20 per person for the all-you-can-eat shrimp option, you'll now have to shell out a whopping $25.

I'll be honest in the grand scheme of things an extra five dollars to eat as much shrimp as your heart desires does not seem like that big of a stretch, especially when you think that everything is more expensive nowadays.

Then again, you could always enjoy shrimp from one of our great local seafood spots instead.
